A Day, a Week, a Month

Most people spend their whole lives being capable. Making decisions. Holding it together. Being the one everyone else leans on.

Then they walk through our door in Surin, and for a few days — or a few weeks — none of that is their job anymore.

That’s what Thai Adult Baby Nursery has been offering since 2003. Not a fantasy weekend or a novelty. A real nursery, run by real caregivers, where an adult can put down the weight of being an adult and be looked after properly.

Your crib for the stay

It started with one baby who wanted a home

bABy Bunnykins has been a baby his whole life. Nearly twenty years ago he built the nursery he’d always wished existed — somewhere he could be little without hiding, and somewhere other babies could come and do the same.

He still lives it. He still plays. He’ll happily crawl around the playpen with you, and when someone needs a daddy rather than a playmate, he steps into that too.

Alongside him is Mummy Mac, our head caregiver. Mummy raised real babies before she ever cared for adult ones, and it shows in everything — the way she times a feed, the way she settles you, the way she never once makes you feel strange for wanting it. Nanny completes the team, and between them there’s over twenty years of experience in knowing exactly how to treat a baby.

That experience is the thing you can’t fake. Nobody here is figuring it out as they go.

What a stay actually looks like

No two babies want the same thing, so nothing here is off a menu. But most stays include some version of this:

  • Sleeping properly little. A real crib or a cradle, made up soft, with someone to tuck you in. Several of our babies say the back rubs and pats through a nappy at bedtime are the part they think about long after they’ve flown home.
  • Being fed, not feeding yourself. Bottles, the highchair, Mummy or Nanny doing the work. Breastfeeding is available. You don’t lift a spoon.
  • Playtime that’s actually play. The playpen, the toys, the rocking horse, the swing — with a Jolly Jumper and bouncer joining soon.
  • Going out into the world as a baby. Pushchair, stroller, or baby reins. A trip to the park, an afternoon in the sunshine. Some babies stay in nappies 24/7 for their entire visit, including days out.
  • Being dressed sweetly. Sissy baby dressing is one of our most-loved services. If you can picture it, we can usually do it.
  • Nappy changes, as often as you need them. Powder, wipes, the full routine, no fuss and no comments.

And underneath all of it — the part that isn’t really a service at all — is simply being cared for. Love is the best thing we have to give, and we give a lot of it.

AB Retirement: for babies who don’t want to leave

Some guests come for a weekend. Others realise a weekend was never going to be enough.

AB Retirement is our longer-term care option — for adults who want to live as a little for an extended stretch, or permanently. Thailand makes that possible in a way most places don’t: the cost of living, the warmth, the pace, and a nursery already built for exactly this. If you’ve quietly wondered whether the rest of your life could look like this, it can. Come and talk to us about it.

Safe, respectful, and clear about what this is

We’re going to be plain about this, because it matters.

This is a nursery. Everyone here is a consenting adult, 18 or over. There is no sexual activity with any caregiver. That boundary has been in place since 2003 and it’s exactly why babies feel safe enough to genuinely let go.

Your boundaries are yours. You tell us where they are, we respect them, and we don’t push. As one of our guests put it:

From the moment I arrived I felt loved and accepted. I appreciate how easily you treated me as a baby… You had lots of places to go, and you respected my boundaries.— Baby Doe

Another wrote something that’s stayed with us:

It may sometimes seem trivial and transactional, the work you do, but never lose sight of the profound therapeutic value this can have for the folks who come to see you.— KH

We haven’t lost sight of it. That’s the whole reason we’re still here twenty-odd years on.

Getting here

We’re at 13 Moo 8, Surin, Thailand. Babies have travelled to us from Sweden, the UK, the US and beyond, and we can meet you at Buriram airport so you never have to manage the journey alone — Baby Thord was collected by Nanny and was in nappies within the hour. We can put you straight into your nappy at the airport so you feel comfortable.

If you’ve read this far, you already know whether this is for you.
