One of the questions we’re often asked is, “What does a typical day look like?”

The answer is that no two babies are exactly alike. Some enjoy lots of playtime, while others simply want to be cuddled, fed and allowed to drift peacefully through the day.

Everything we do is discussed before your stay begins, and every part of your routine is based on your wishes, comfort and boundaries.

If you’ve chosen to spend your stay as a six-month-old baby, your day might look something like this.

7:00 am – Good Morning, Baby

The day begins gently.

There’s no alarm clock. Instead, Mummy or Nanny quietly comes to see if you’re awake. If you’re still sleeping peacefully, you’ll be left to enjoy your rest.

Once you’re awake, you’ll be greeted with smiles, cuddles and a cheerful “Good morning, baby.”

Your nappy is checked and changed if needed. A fresh nappy, powder, baby lotion and clean clothes help you start the day feeling comfortable.

7:30 am – Morning Bottle

Like a real six-month-old, breakfast is simple and relaxing.

You’ll be comfortably held while enjoying your bottle, or if you prefer, fed while sitting in the highchair.

Some babies simply enjoy the comfort of being fed rather than feeding themselves.

There are no decisions to make.

Just relax and enjoy being looked after.

8:00 am – Morning Playtime

After breakfast comes play.

Depending on your preferences, this could include:

  • Playing in the playpen
  • Soft toys and rattles
  • Building blocks
  • Musical toys
  • Looking through colourful picture books
  • Gentle games with Mummy, Nanny or Bunnykins

Some babies are full of energy.

Others are perfectly happy sitting on Mummy’s lap watching the world go by.

There’s never any pressure to do more than you feel like.

10:00 am – Morning Nap

Six-month-old babies need plenty of sleep.

After a fresh nappy check, you’re tucked into your crib with your favourite blanket, dummy or comfort toy.

Many babies enjoy gentle pats, a back rub through their nappy or a lullaby before drifting off.

For many guests, these naps become one of the most peaceful parts of their stay.

11:30 am – Lunch

After waking, it’s time for another nappy change before lunch.

Depending on your preferences, lunch may include soft foods alongside a bottle.

You’ll be fed slowly and patiently, with plenty of encouragement and affection.

There’s no rushing.

No checking phones.

No worrying about the outside world.

Your only job is to be baby’s.

12:30 pm – Quiet Time

Not every moment needs to be busy.

Quiet time may include:

  • Cuddles on the sofa
  • Listening to gentle music
  • Watching nursery rhymes or children’s programmes
  • Looking through picture books
  • Sitting with Mummy while she chats softly

Many babies say these calm moments are when they feel the safest and most relaxed.

2:00 pm – Afternoon Adventure

Weather permitting, we may head outside.

Depending on what you enjoy, this might include:

  • A walk in the pushchair
  • Time in the garden
  • Visiting a local park
  • Watching birds and butterflies
  • Feeling the warm Thai sunshine

Many guests tell us that being pushed in a stroller while simply watching the world pass by is one of their favourite memories.

3:30 pm – Bottle and Play

Back at the nursery, another bottle helps keep baby happy before more gentle play.

Perhaps you’ll spend time on the rocking horse.

Maybe you’ll bounce in the nursery bouncer.

Or perhaps you’ll simply enjoy crawling around the playpen while Bunnykins joins in.

Every baby plays differently, and that’s exactly how it should be.

5:30 pm – Evening Meal

As the day begins to wind down, it’s time for dinner.

Just like the rest of the day, you’ll be looked after from start to finish.

Many babies enjoy sitting in the highchair while Mummy or Nanny feeds them.

The nursery grows quieter as everyone starts preparing for bedtime.

6:30 pm – Bath and Bedtime Routine

A warm bath is one of the nicest ways to end the day for babies who enjoy bathing.

Afterwards comes a fresh bedtime nappy, baby lotion, powder and cosy sleepwear.

Many babies say this evening routine is one of the highlights of their stay because it’s calm, unhurried and filled with gentle care.

7:30 pm – Bedtime Bottle

With the lights dimmed and the nursery quiet, it’s time for one last bottle before bed.

Some babies enjoy being rocked.

Others like listening to a bedtime story.

Some simply want to cuddle close while slowly drifting off to sleep.

8:00 pm – Sweet Dreams

Finally, you’re tucked safely into your crib.

Your blanket is straightened.

Your comfort toy is close by.

Mummy or Nanny wishes you goodnight with a kiss on the forehead if that’s something you’re comfortable with.

The nursery becomes peaceful.

Tomorrow will bring another day of cuddles, play, naps and being cared for.

Every Routine Is Personal

This schedule is only an example.

Some babies enjoy more outings.

Others prefer extra naps.

Some like lots of playtime, while others simply want quiet cuddles and the reassurance of knowing someone is looking after them.

Since opening in 2003, Thai Adult Baby Nursery has always believed that every baby is different.

Our role isn’t to make you fit a routine.

It’s to create a routine that helps you feel safe, relaxed and genuinely cared for.

That’s what being in our nursery has always been about.

We wish you all a happy nappy day and lots of love while you enjoy being who you want to be.
