“I wish someone would just look after me for a while.”

It’s a thought many people have, even if they never say it out loud.

Modern life asks a lot of us. We work, pay bills, care for families, solve problems, and spend our days making decisions. We become so used to being responsible that we rarely stop to ask what it feels like when someone else takes that responsibility away.

For some adults, that’s exactly what adult baby care provides.

It isn’t about pretending life doesn’t exist.

It’s about pressing pause for a little while.

More Than Nappies and Toys

People who have never experienced an Adult Baby nursery often imagine it’s all about the nappies, bottles or baby clothes.

Those things certainly have their place, but they’re usually not the reason people come.

The real attraction is much simpler.

Being cared for.

Imagine arriving somewhere and discovering that you don’t have to decide what’s for dinner, make the bed, answer emails or organise tomorrow’s schedule.

Someone reminds you to eat.

Someone makes sure you’re comfortable.

Someone notices when you’re tired.

Someone asks if you need a cuddle, a bottle, or simply a quiet moment.

For many people, that feeling is far more important than any nursery equipment.

A Chance to Let Go

Most adults spend their lives taking care of other people.

Parents care for children.

Partners care for one another.

Professionals carry the weight of businesses, employees and customers.

Even those who live alone often feel they must always appear capable.

Adult baby care offers something that’s surprisingly rare.

Permission to stop carrying the world for a little while.

There is no expectation that you have all the answers.

No pressure to be productive.

No need to impress anyone.

Just the opportunity to rest and allow somebody else to take care of you.

Every Baby Has Their Own Story

One of the things we’ve learned after more than twenty years at Thai Adult Baby Nursery is that no two babies arrive for the same reason.

Some have known since childhood that they felt happiest in a nursery environment.

Others discover the lifestyle later in life after years of wondering why the idea of being cared for feels so comforting.

Some enjoy the routines of feeding, changing and bedtime.

Others simply want somewhere they don’t have to be “on” all the time.

There isn’t one reason people choose adult baby care.

There are as many reasons as there are babies.

Comfort Can Be Powerful

Think about the things that comfort a child.

A favourite blanket.

A warm bottle.

Being tucked into bed.

A gentle back rub.

Kind words.

Those things don’t suddenly lose their emotional value just because we grow older.

Adults still need comfort.

We simply express that need in different ways.

For some people, an Adult Baby nursery brings together those familiar feelings of warmth, safety and reassurance in a way that feels deeply meaningful.

There’s No Right Way to Be Little

Some babies spend all day in nappies.

Others enjoy dressing in cute baby clothes.

Some love crawling around the playpen.

Others prefer quiet cuddles and story time.

Many move naturally between adult conversation and baby time throughout their stay.

There isn’t a rule book.

Being little is a personal experience, and every nursery visit is tailored to the individual rather than following a fixed routine.

Safety Comes First

One question we’re often asked is whether people feel embarrassed.

The answer is usually only for the first few minutes.

Feeling accepted changes everything.

At Thai Adult Baby Nursery, every guest is a consenting adult aged 18 or over.

Your boundaries are respected.

Nothing happens without your agreement.

There is no sexual activity between caregivers and guests.

That commitment to safety has been part of our nursery since we opened in 2003, and it’s one of the reasons so many babies tell us they were finally able to relax completely.

When people know they’re safe, they can stop worrying about protecting themselves and simply enjoy being cared for.

It’s Not About Escaping Life

People sometimes imagine that choosing adult baby care means wanting to avoid adulthood forever.

In reality, most of our guests return home to their jobs, families and everyday responsibilities.

The difference is that they’ve had time to recharge.

Just as some people find peace through meditation, a beach holiday or a weekend in the countryside, others find that being cared for in a nursery helps them reconnect with themselves.

It’s not about running away from life.

It’s about returning to it feeling rested.

A Place Where You Don’t Have to Explain Yourself

Perhaps the greatest gift an Adult Baby nursery offers is acceptance.

Many guests arrive after years of hiding this part of themselves.

Some have never spoken about it to another person.

Others have worried that they would be judged if anyone knew.

Then they spend a few days surrounded by people who simply smile and say,

“Welcome home.”

There’s something profoundly comforting about being accepted exactly as you are.

No explanations.

No embarrassment.

No pretending.

Just kindness.

Why We Do What We Do

When we opened Thai Adult Baby Nursery in Surin, Thailand, our goal wasn’t simply to create somewhere people could wear nappies or sleep in a crib.

We wanted to create a place where adults could experience genuine care, warmth and acceptance.

More than twenty years later, that’s still what we offer.

Some guests come for a weekend.

Some stay for weeks.

A few decide they never want to leave and choose our long-term AB Retirement programme.

Whatever brings someone through our door, the reason they return is usually the same.

For a little while, they remembered what it felt like to be cared for.

And sometimes, that’s exactly what a person needs.
