Becoming Baby
For some babies, slipping into a soft baby dress is the moment they truly begin to relax.
A freshly changed nappy.
A beautifully smocked dress.
Frilly socks.
Soft shoes.
A pretty hair ribbon if they choose.
Perhaps a dummy tucked into the corner of a smiling mouth.
It’s amazing how quickly the stresses of everyday life begin to fade.
There is no judgement here.

Playing Like a Baby
Once dressed, it’s time to enjoy being little.
Our nursery is designed to let adults experience the simple pleasures of babyhood.
That might mean sitting in the playpen surrounded by toys, colouring, listening to nursery rhymes, being pushed gently on the rocking horse or enjoying a bottle while Mummy chats softly nearby.
Some babies giggle through the afternoon.
Others become wonderfully quiet as they settle into their little headspace.
Neither is right or wrong.

Many of our sissy babies enjoy choosing outfits almost as much as they enjoy wearing them.
One day might be a traditional smocked dress.
Another could be a pastel romper with matching bloomers.
Sometimes it’s a cardigan for cooler evenings or a cosy sleeper before bedtime.
The nursery wardrobe is part of the fun, and many babies discover styles they never imagined having the confidence to wear.
The smiles when they see themselves in the mirror often say more than words ever could.
Adventures Beyond the Nursery
One of the most memorable parts of a stay can be leaving the nursery for a gentle outing.
Not every baby wants to go out, and that’s perfectly fine.
But for those who do, it can be an exciting experience.
Perhaps you’re tucked comfortably into your pushchair for a stroll through the park.
Maybe you’re enjoying the sunshine while Mummy chats with you as you watch the world go by.
Some babies simply love feeling the warm breeze and hearing the sounds of everyday life while safely wrapped in their blanket.
Our outings are always planned with your comfort and privacy in mind.
If at any point you’d rather head back to the nursery, that’s exactly what we’ll do.
Growing in Confidence
It’s surprising how many guests arrive believing they’ll never have the confidence to dress the way they’ve always dreamed.
Then something changes.
They realise they’re with people who accept them completely.
That confidence often grows naturally.
Not because anyone pushes them.
Because they finally feel safe.
Some babies who were nervous on their first day are happily smiling in the stroller a few days later, enjoying every moment.
Others prefer to remain within the nursery walls for their entire stay.
